First lectures started on a newly-established study "Sustainable management of aquatic ecosystems"

The new graduate study "Sustainable management of aquatic ecosystems" started on Monday with first lectures at the University of Zadar.

The study will enable a students to manage jobs and activities from different fields related to coastal, freshwater and marine environments such as biology and ecology of aquatic ecosystems, aquaculture, fisheries, water ecosystem protection and management of protected marine areas.

The study enrolled 30 students, completing the enrollment quota, which is a good indicator of high interest for a newly founded study. Among enrolled students, apart from those from the University of Zadar, there are students from the University of Karlovac, the University of Zagreb and the University of Rijeka.
